STARRY NIGHT

Save the Date
Eighth Annual STArry Night: April 23, 2022

STArry Night has been a successful benefit for St. Thomas the Apostle for seven years. The first STArry Night was April 18, 2015. Each year, the event has grown, just as the school’s enrollment has grown, and it has served as an important community-building event. Each year, school parents, parishioners and friends from across Chicago have come together to support the students of STA.

STArry Night has provided the STA community with the opportunity to recognize the extraordinary programs that we offer our children, the committed teachers who build learning centered safe spaces in their classrooms – now, both in-person and virtually - and the extraordinary children themselves.

STArry Night has raised over $220,000 for the students of St. Thomas the Apostle School in its first seven years. Through this event, over 31 sponsors have been able to support our extraordinary school.

A "VIRTUE-AL"
STARRY NIGHT

One of STA's virtues that is prevalent today is gratitude! Thank you to the whole STA community for supporting this year's "VIRTUE-AL" STArry Night fundraiser! Your generous support makes it possible for STA to provide deserving students with scholarships, support STA's committed teachers & academic programs and fund any needed building improvements. Thank you! Together, we raised a total of $38,555 so far! We hit the $10,000 matching gift challenge AND surpassed our goal of raising $30,000 for the students at St. Thomas the Apostle School.

If you were not able to join "live," it is not too late to support St. Thomas the Apostle School! Click the link below to make your gift to support the "VIRTUE-AL" STArry Night fundraiser. The program video is also included below for you to view.

A special thank you to the individuals on this year's "VIRTUE-AL" STArry Night planning committee! Thank you all for your commitment and service to St. Thomas the Apostle School, and for helping to make this virtual fundraiser a success! "VIRTUE-AL" STArry Night planning committee: Jeanne Gallo, April Gluth, Sarah Hamel-Spight, Gwen Jones, Bronwyn Nichols Lodato, Ashley-Lauren McLean, Trenika Smith.

SUPPORT THE SMALL BUSINESSES THAT SUPPORT STA

It has been a difficult year for the many small and local businesses that support STA and have made donations to the STArry Night silent auction in years prior. Below is a list of the small and local businesses that have invested in our mission with links to their websites. These small and local businesses have been there for us when we needed their support. Now, it is our turn to be there for them. Given the challenges the pandemic has brought, it seemed most appropriate not to ask them for donations to a silent auction at this time. We know the silent auction has been a popular way for many to support STA and participate in STArry Night in previous years, and we want to bring it back in 2022. St. Thomas plans to continue to share the ways our community can support these small and local businesses right now and encourage you to patronize them when shopping, dining, etc. We are all in this together! We, again, thank these small and local businesses for being there for STA!
