TEST PERFORMANCE

St. Thomas the Apostle students take the i-Ready test in the fall and spring of each year. Students in grades K–8 take this test. STA students generally perform as “ready” on the i-Ready standardized test.

CURRICULUM

Common Core curriculum as required by the State of Illinois and the Archdiocese of Chicago.

Curriculum includes:

• Catholic religion program

• Balanced Literacy - Reading & Writing Workshop

• University of Chicago’s Everyday Mathematics & Connected Mathematics

• FOSS Science

• Social Emotional Learning

• Weekly Specials Classes including: Art, Music, Spanish, Physical Education and Yoga for Pre-k
