In order to protect the health and safety of our students, their families and our staff, we have implemented a no outside visitors policy in the school building at this time. We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with you virtually!

If you are interested in taking a Virtual Tour and learning more about St. Thomas the Apostle School, then please sign-up today! We are waiving our parent tour and student shadow requirement at this time, but we strongly encourage parents to participate in a virtual tour or open house. Virtual tours take place on Wednesdays and Fridays at either 9:00-9:30 am or 6:00-6:30 pm.

Please contact our Admissions Coordinator, Tareema Jean-Baptiste, if you have any questions about admissions or are interested in applying to St. Thomas the Apostle School at this time.

We pray you and your family remain safe and healthy.

Tour and Shadow Visits

Tours and Shadow visits allow prospective families to experience what a typical day at STA is like. All families should plan to attend a parent tour and have their child(ren) complete a shadow visit before receiving an application for admission.

Students will shadow in the classroom for their current grade level on the day of their visit.

Pre-K & K: students will shadow for 1 hour while their parents take a tour of the school. Students and parents should arrive to the office 15 minutes prior to their tour time. Families who show up late may need to re-schedule their visit.

1st – 8th grade students: shadow for the entire school day. Parents are encouraged to take their tour on the same day as their child’s shadow day. Students shadowing in 1st-8th grades must arrive to the school office by 8:15 am. Parents should plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to their tour time. Families who show up late may need to re-schedule their visit.

Families should sign-up for these visits in advance. Our Admissions Coordinator, Tareema Jean-Baptiste will confirm your visit. Please allow 72 hours advance notice so that the teachers can be prepared for your child. We look forward to your visit!

Open Houses

Open Houses offer prospective families the opportunity to learn about the faith-based, Catholic school environment and academic curriculum, as well as getting a tour of the building. The principal, assistant principal, teachers, and parent and student ambassadors are present to answer any questions you may have.
