TUITION & FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Tuition & Financial Assistance: Text

TUITION

Tuition is paid on a monthly plan but may also be paid in full. Families choose their payment plan when the financial agreement is signed. A $40 fee is assessed to change plans after registration.

We require a Non-Refundable Tuition Deposit equal to 1 month of tuition at the time of registration, in addition to payment of the first month of tuition. These payments are required before your student starts.

The Non-Refundable Tuition Deposit includes registration and material fees.

Tuition payments are due on a monthly basis, depending on the chosen payment plan. Late payment fees are assessed after 5 days. Exclusion from school for non-payment of tuition and extended care takes effect on the 6th of the month. Tuition is paid only through the FACTS financial management system. All tuition payments are non-refundable. A $40 fee for FACTS is included in the registration fee.

Additional information about St. Thomas the Apostle School tuition is available in the Parent Handbook, or by contacting the school at 773-667-1142.

Other School Support

Because tuition does not cover the full cost of education at St. Thomas the Apostle School, families must fulfill a service requirement throughout the year. This provides opportunities for building community and creating a special environment for learning within a caring community. Families must earn 20 service hours by the end of the school year. Examples of these opportunities are listed in the school handbook.

Financial Support

STA is committed to making a high-quality, Catholic education available to God’s children in extraordinary variety. Families in need of financial assistance are encouraged to apply on FACTS.  This is the first step STA families need to complete in order to apply for financial assistance - FACTS website.

STA has a scholarship committee that meets monthly to review applications for aid and award need-based scholarships.  The scholarship committee does not see the names of the applicants when determining awards.  Families will be notified via email about any possible award and must submit the scholarship acceptance letter by the listed deadline.  Families applying for financial aid are encouraged to apply early, as we award more scholarships during the spring and early summer.

If you have any further questions regarding the financial aid process, please contact STA’s Tuition Manager, Ms. Raquel Irvin –admissions@stapostleschool.com
